About Us

The MFO Foundation was established in 2024 in memory of Oliver, a talented and compassionate young man with a deep love for music. Following his tragic passing, we sought to transform our grief into a platform for hope, connection, and inspiration.

To nurture young musicians by giving them opportunities to perform, connect with peers, and build confidence through music.

In partnership with Thame Music Tuition, the local music school, we aim to provide young musicians with the best possible guidance and platforms to flourish.

A world where every young musician feels supported, valued, and empowered to express themselves.

On 26th February 2024, life changed forever when we lost our wonderful boy Oliver to suicide.

With his big personality, kind soul, cheeky humour and musical talent, the world is a much quieter place without him.

The astonishing statistic is that on average one man every two hours takes his life in the UK. It’s often said that a factor is that men don’t talk. That’s why ANDYSMANCLUB was born. Their aim is to break down these stigmas, support men struggling, and lend a hand to suicide prevention.

As a family we want to support this fantastic cause in many ways, but primarily through Oliver’s love of music.

With the help and support of his friends, we have started the Music For Oliver – Wind Orchestra to bring people together to express their feelings and passion through music.
